Captain's Quarters

Located in Bass Harbor, on the “quiet side” of Mount Desert Island, Captain’s Quarters cottage is a spacious, modern cottage, sleeps up to 6, right on the ocean—just 30 feet from high tide! Enjoy awesome views of the working harbor, and Swan's Island, off in the distance.

It features 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with a queen bed. Living room features a sleep sofa and TV with cable, VCR, and gas fireplace. High ceilings give it a very open, spacious feel. It has a terrific deck overlooking the Harbor.

Features include two full bathrooms, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, charcoal BBQ grill. Sorry, no internet at this time.

This cottage shares a private dock with the two other “Quarters” cottages (available after July 1).

Mount Desert Island has everything needed for a wonderful vacation: Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, pristine lakes (including Echo Lake), hiking trails, carriage roads, and much more. Captain's Quarters is wonderful spot for your week-long vacation. Other attractions include: biking, boating, whale watching, canoeing (kayak and canoe tours), lake swimming, horse back riding, wonderful dining, shopping, deep sea fishing! First Mate's Quarters

Located in Bass Harbor, on the “quiet side” of Mount Desert Island, First Mate’s Quarters is part of a trio of oceanfront cottages right on the Harbor. The cottage is a cozy cottage/camp, that sleeps up to 5, and is just 80 feet from high tide!

It features 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with a twin bed. Living room features a sleep sofa and TV with cable, and a lovely view of the ocean. Features include two bathrooms, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave
oven, coffee maker, toaster, cable TV.

This cottage shares a private dock with the two other “Quarters” cottages (available after July 1).

While the cottage is a bit small, there is plenty to do on Mount Desert Island: Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, pristine lakes (including Echo Lake and Long Pond, nearby), hiking trails, carriage roads, and much more. Crew's Quarters

Located in Bass Harbor, on the “quiet side” of Mount Desert Island,Crew’s Quarters cottage is a small, rustic cabin right on the ocean—just 30 feet from high tide! Enjoy days watching boats come and go, as well as the ebb and flow of the tide.

Crew's Quarters features 2 small bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with two twin beds. Living room features a sleep sofa and TV with cable. Bathroom has a shower only. Kitchen has a microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster. Sorry, there is no dishwasher or washer/dryer.

This cottage shares a private dock with the two other “Quarters” cottages (available after July 1).

While the cabin is small, there is plenty to do on Mount Desert Island: Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, pristine lakes (including Echo Lake and Long Pond, nearby), hiking trails, carriage roads, and much more. Crew's Quarters is good spot to sleep while you explore Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and other Island delights. Local activities include: biking, boating, whale watching, canoeing (kayak and canoe tours), lake swimming, horse back riding, wonderful dining, shopping, deep sea fishing!
